The majority of the Grand Vin (20,000 cases) comprises of mainly Cabernet sauvignon, with the excellent second wine, Les Tourelles de Longueville (12,500 cases), being dominated by Merlot. Lying adjacent to Latour, Pichon Baron produces one of the Medoc’s most majestic wines.

Tasting Notes: The dark ruby/purple-colored Pichon Longueville Baron reveals aromas of charcoal, black currants, and sweet toasty oak. This low acid, medium-bodied, charming, lush 1999 possesses good stuffing, ripe tannin, and a moderately long finish.
