Emmanuel Rouget produces Pinot Noir to rival his famous uncle's (the late, great Henri Jayer).  After serving his apprenticeship with Jayer, Rouget took on his own vines (Echezeaux, Vosne Romanee and Nuits St. Georges), then two years later some Bourgogne Rouge.  Then in 1989 he took over some more Vosne, Nuits and Cros Parantoux and Beaux Monts from Henri Jayer.  The quality is extremely high and Rouget follows all the guidelines of winemaking set out by his legendary uncle (low yields, cold maceration technique and 100% new oak).
