Selling Wine

Fine wine to sell?  We are always looking to purchase fine and rare wines.

There are two ways of selling your wine:

Broking Service – We charge a 10% commission on the sale of the wine which means you receive 90% of the selling price.

  • Wines are listed at an agreed selling price.
  • All wines being sold on customers’ behalf are listed on our website and all other sales material as well as being proactively offered on by our sales team.
  • The wines may take longer to sell but you will receive more money in the long- run.
  • The wine remains the property of the customer until sold and is kept under the same security conditions as stated in our storage terms & conditions.

Cash Sale – depending on market conditions and the wine on offer for sale we will be happy to make you a cash offer for your wine.

  • Prices offered are approximately 20% less than our list price.
  • Immediate payment on receipt of wine and confirmation of condition.
  • A quick and easy way to sell wine.

If you are interested in selling your wine

  • We like to have the wine in our possession before we offer it for sale to enable us to check the condition.
  • We will arrange collection free of charge, subject to location.
  • Whilst we are selling your wine there will be no charge for storage and insurance.
  • Initial quote which is subject to review on full inspection and confirmation of condition of the wine.
  • No VAT will be charged on the sale.
