• All wine is stored in our Melton or Bentwaters warehouses for £5.95 ex VAT (£25 min. charge) per case (or part thereof) per year including insurance at replacement value (excluding acts of terrorism).

 

• Wine arriving and being withdrawn in the same calendar year will be subject to a full year’s rental charge.

 

• A sales invoice showing purchase prices must accompany all wines not purchased from Seckford Wines.

 

• We must have prior warning in the form of a detailed list of all wines being delivered to a storage account.  This should include in bond prices where applicable.

 

• Storage invoices are raised annually in advance and the fee is not refundable or part refundable should a case not spend a year here.

 

• We confirm that “All Risks” insurance has been affected by Seckford Wines Ltd for wine in store at Dock Lane and is labelled as belonging to you.

 

• Delivery from us to you if you take a case out of storage (upon receipt of written instruction) is charged at cost.

 

• We do not store mixed cases, unless official assortments supplied by the producer.

 

• Only complete cases can be withdrawn from storage, no part cases.

 

• We do store wine purchased from other sources and if it is currently stored elsewhere we ask you or your wine merchant to deliver to us.

 

• The Company expressly reserves a lien over the entire Customer’s wine under the Company’s control for any storage or other charge or money owing to it by the customer.
