Vinous Stephen Tanzer - 01 Jan 11
Good deep medium red. Captivating aromas of black raspberry, cherry, blueberry, smoke and pepper. Much more accessible and sweet than the Mazy, offering a silky texture and excellent concentration and balance. This fleshy, round, seamless wine finishes with broad tannins and lovely lingering perfume. Compared to this grand cru, the Estournelles seems a bit dry and tight.
