Vinous Stephen Tanzer - 01 Mar 15
Full red. Pungent aromas of black raspberry, crushed stone, licorice pastille, violet and spices. Broad, chewy and backward in the mouth, in a rather masculine, brooding, slightly medicinal style, showing little early sweetness. With its serious structure and notes of wild spices and herbs, this is like a mini-Bonnes-Mares. Needless to say, it will require patience.

Chambolle-Musigny Vineyard Fine Wine

Chambolle-Musigny

Chambolle-Musigny, a prestigious appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, is renowned for its elegant, aromatic Pinot Noir wines. Known for their finesse and complex aromas of red berries, violets, and earth, these wines are often described as the most "feminine" of Burgundy. The appellation's two Grand Cru vineyards, Bonnes Mares and Musigny, produce highly sought-after wines with depth and ageing potential. Notable producers include Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, Domaine Georges Roumier, and Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier, all celebrated for their refined winemaking.
