Vinous Josh Raynolds - 01 Nov 15
Bright purple. Assertive mineral- and smoke-accented dark fruit liqueur and potpourri aromas are complemented by hints of white pepper and cola. Sweet, seamless and focused on the palate, offering concentrated blueberry and cherry-cola flavors that become livelier with aeration. Finishes sappy and very long, with smooth tannins sneaking in late to give structure to the wine's powerful, appealingly sweet fruit.
