Tasting Notes

90-92
Vinous Stephen Tanzer - 01 Jan 16
Fresh, dark red. Violet, licorice, dark chocolate and graphite minerality on the soil-driven nose. Very ripe, lush and suave in the mouth, showing a captivating sugar/acid balance to the flavors of dark fruits, flowers, spices and saline minerality. This very serious premier cru finishes dry and broad, with dusty, late-arriving tannins and a lingering note of licorice.
