Vinous Josh Raynolds - 01 Sep 07
Deep red. Smoky cherry and cassis aromas are complicated by mocha, vanilla and cured tobacco. Coffee-accented red and dark berry flavors are enlivened by zesty minerality, which adds focus. Suave, sweet cherry-cola and anise flavors carry impressively through the vibrant, delineated finish. The 2004 has more power, this more finesse.
