Full medium red. Slightly reduced aromas of cherry, redcurrant, roast coffee, mocha and almond. Large-scaled, dense and sweet but bright and sharply delineated thanks to sound acidity and firm underlying tannic spine. This rather thick wine comes across as strong in extract and rather energetically extracted. Finishes very long and subtle, with a hint of roasted oak.
