Vinous Neal Martin - 06 Jun 24
The 2004 Bahans Haut-Brion has a more attractive and nuanced bouquet than the La Chapelle, with a mixture of red and black fruit, mint, sage and light black olives developing in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine delineation, slightly grainy tannins and a firm backbone on the finish. This surprisingly youthful Bahans is only just beginning to reach its drinking plateau.
