The 2016 Chambolle-Musigny Les Nazoires has a perfumed, sorbet-fresh bouquet with cassis, Morello cherries and light iris aromas. The palate is well balanced with sappy black fruit, bilberry and a pinch of spice. It feels quite compact towards the finish. This Les Nazoires will benefit from two or three years in bottle to flesh out and mellow. Good potential.

Chambolle-Musigny

Chambolle-Musigny, a prestigious appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, is renowned for its elegant, aromatic Pinot Noir wines. Known for their finesse and complex aromas of red berries, violets, and earth, these wines are often described as the most "feminine" of Burgundy. The appellation's two Grand Cru vineyards, Bonnes Mares and Musigny, produce highly sought-after wines with depth and ageing potential. Notable producers include Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, Domaine Georges Roumier, and Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier, all celebrated for their refined winemaking.
