Studert's 2019 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Kabinett Trocken is clear, deep, intense and elegant on the nose that indicates ripe and healthy fruit intermixed with spicy slate notes. Round and elegant on the palate, this is a well-balanced, seamless and persistently structured Kabinett from the famous Sonnenuhr. The wine is tightly structured and persistently salty but moderate in body and alcohol. A Kabinett to keep to get more aromatic complexity. 11.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted from AP 3 20 in November 2021.

AP number 01 23.Water white. So pure! So delicate! So unique! Lovely compelling delicate fruit on the front palate. No sign of the obvious sulphur that used to characterise young J J Prüm wines. You could drink this now but I know from experience just how long they last … GV (JR)
