An exciting, very rare, and eclectic mix from Sine Qua Non; (Meaning; "without which it could not be")
This unique collection was amassed by a true fan of the Californian winery which now commands cult status amongst the vinous world's trophy hunters keen to buy their Rhône style wine blends made in the Ventura County, Central Coast AVA. There's now a five+ year wait to get on the wineries allocation list so buying direct is almost impossible.
Manfred & Elaine Krankl established the winery in 1994, sourcing fruit from a wide variety of growers making very different wines in each and every vintage, hence the huge range of blends, cuvees, mixed cases, and incredible artwork on the labels which express their unique style.
Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre make up the base of the red selection with whites made from Roussanne, Viognier and Chardonnay. Also on offer is their stunning "Mr. K" which is a collaboration with Austrian winemaker, Alois Kracher.
