Vinous Josh Raynolds - 01 Sep 08
Opaque purple color. Intensely perfumed nose displays spicy dark berry and floral character, with zesty minerals and black tea adding complexity. Pliant blackberry and cherry flavors are impressively fresh, becoming deeper and sweeter with air. An admirably balanced wine, playing depth against vivacity and finishing with outstanding clarity and length. This is the most elegant example of this bottling I've tasted.
