Robert Parker Wine Advocate Neal Martin - 30 Dec 14
The 2013 Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru has a glorious bouquet with dark cherries, blueberry and stony aromas - taciturn at first, but soaring from the glass after a couple of minutes. There is a lovely wilted-violet scent here. The palate is medium-bodied with filigree tannins, wonderful tension and an "H.D." finish that sticks in your memory. Utterly divine.

20% new oak, 0.26 ha. Very deep crimson. Very gorgeous and fragrant. Heady. Wonderful bright fruit and then round and sweet. You really could wallop this straight away, until a slightly dry finish. Wonderfully vibrant. Fine and beautiful. (JR)
