The 2013 Vosne-Romanée Village has a gentle lilting crushed strawberry and Morello-scented bouquet that wafts from the glass, neatly carrying the 50% new oak. The palate is medium-bodied with quite sharp tannin on the entry, crisp malic acidity with a pointed tart cherry finish. This is a fine introduction to the delights of this domaine's wines.
