Healthy medium red. Expressive aromas of red cherry, raspberry, coffee and smoky minerality. Sappy red fruit and spice flavors show enticing sweetness supported by excellent acid lift and a firm spine of tannins. Can't match the 2015 version for fleshiness but this wine is intense, precise and very easy to drink and finishes with lovely lift. I'd give it a couple more years in the bottle before pulling the cork. It wasn't too many years ago that this cuvée was a weak link in this cellar, but not any longer.

Chambolle-Musigny Vineyard Fine Wine

Chambolle-Musigny

Chambolle-Musigny, a prestigious appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, is renowned for its elegant, aromatic Pinot Noir wines. Known for their finesse and complex aromas of red berries, violets, and earth, these wines are often described as the most "feminine" of Burgundy. The appellation's two Grand Cru vineyards, Bonnes Mares and Musigny, produce highly sought-after wines with depth and ageing potential. Notable producers include Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, Domaine Georges Roumier, and Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier, all celebrated for their refined winemaking.
