Vinous Stephen Tanzer - 01 Mar 17
Bright, dark red, but without the ruby tones of some of the Lucien Le Moine '14s. Musky, slightly reduced aromas of raspberry, strawberry, plum, meat, dried rose petal and underbrush. Wonderfully rich, dense and saline if still a bit reduced. This concentrated, seriously tactile wine finishes with terrific palate-staining length but will need eight to ten years in the cellar to really express itself.
