Vinous Josh Raynolds - 01 Nov 15
Opaque ruby. Intensely perfumed red and dark berry liqueur scents are complemented by mocha, candied violet and peppery spices, with smoke and vanilla nuances building in the glass. Sweet, expansive blackberry and cherry-vanilla flavors are enlivened by juicy acidity and a suggestion of smoky minerals. Rich yet lively wine with excellent finishing focus and thrust and velvety, slowly building tannins.
