Vinous Stephen Tanzer - 01 Jan 15
Bright red. Enticing floral lift to the aromas of raspberry, cherry, blood orange and earth. Sappy, spherical and sweet, showing superb mineral tension to the flavors of red cherry, red berries, fig and earth. Wonderfully balanced for Rognet, which can be high in alcohol. Finishes bright, stony and very long, with a suggestion of oyster shell. Should evolve very slowly.
