The 2011 Volnay Caillerets possesses lovely density allied to the persistent saline-infused minerality that is the signature of this great site. Dark red stone fruits, flowers and spices emerge over time, but ultimately the Caillerets is defined by its pure energy and tension. There is plenty to look forward to here.
