Good full red. High-toned, very ripe aromas of redcurrant, flowers and earth, with red cherry emerging with air. Round, ripe, lush and sweet; stuffed with ripe red fruits. Finishes with broad tannins and lovely lingering sweetness. As rich as this big boy is, I'd give it at least a few years in the cellar before pulling the cork.

Chambolle-Musigny

Chambolle-Musigny, a prestigious appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, is renowned for its elegant, aromatic Pinot Noir wines. Known for their finesse and complex aromas of red berries, violets, and earth, these wines are often described as the most "feminine" of Burgundy. The appellation's two Grand Cru vineyards, Bonnes Mares and Musigny, produce highly sought-after wines with depth and ageing potential. Notable producers include Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, Domaine Georges Roumier, and Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier, all celebrated for their refined winemaking.
