Vinous Stephen Tanzer - 01 Nov 00
Good medium red. Sappy cherry, dark chocolate, loam and smoke on the liqueur-like nose. Fairly backward today and not showing much texture or depth; slight suggestion of old wood. But this is juicy and fairly intensely flavored. Finishes with firm tannic spine. Very hard to assess.
