Tasting Notes

Vinous Stephen Tanzer - 01 Nov 00
Bright deep red. Deep but reticent nose hints at plum, cherry, leather and spices. Full, dense and sweet, but with excellent framing acidity giving the wine noteworthy clarity of flavor. At once powerful and aromatic in the mouth. Nice balance of acids and tannins. Finishes quite subtle, with sneaky length. Impressive and very young.
