The Wine Independent Sarah Mayo - 08 Nov 23
Grand Rose NV is a blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay with 10% Bouzy still wine based on the 2019 vintage. It is redolent of ripe summer fruit, strawberries, raspberries, black cherry and a little spice note. The medium-bodied palate is luscious and round with a ripe fruit core fused with vibrant, refreshing acidity that carries through to a fresh, long finish with a kiss of honey. This is a fun rose that is balanced, inviting and easy going. Disgorged in with seven grams per liter dosage.

Vinous Antonio Galloni - 25 Nov 25
The NV Brut Rosé Grand Cru is another rich, heady wine in this range from Paul Bara. Cranberry, sweet red cherry, rose petal, mint and chalk all take shape in the glass. There's gorgeous weight and palate presence, so much so that I would prefer to drink this at the dinner table. Disgorged: November 2024.

Champagne

Champagne, exclusively from France's Champagne region, is synonymous with luxury and celebration. Made primarily from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, it undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle, creating its signature bubbles. Flavours range from crisp green apple and citrus to rich, toasty notes of nuts and honey. Yeast contact in the bottle contributes to pastry and brioche notes, which are a key part of good quality Champagne. Top producers include Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, and Krug.
