Robert Parker Wine Advocate William Kelley - 30 Apr 19
A cuvée produced from younger vines, the 2017 Fleurie Le Printemps bursts with aromas of juicy cherries and rose hips, complemented by notions of cinnamon and cardamom. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with melting tannins, a succulent core of fruit and a delicately mordant finish. Like all of Métras's 2017s, at least from my cellar, this Fleurie responds very positively to aeration.
