The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Village has a well-defined bouquet of black cherries, raspberry and touches of iodine, conveying the joie-de-vivre one expects from this appellation. The palate is well defined with a sharp citric edge, vibrant red berry fruit and a liberal sprinkling of white pepper toward the finish. This is a very fine Village Cru from Jean-Marie Fourrier.

Chambolle-Musigny

Chambolle-Musigny, a prestigious appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, is renowned for its elegant, aromatic Pinot Noir wines. Known for their finesse and complex aromas of red berries, violets, and earth, these wines are often described as the most "feminine" of Burgundy. The appellation's two Grand Cru vineyards, Bonnes Mares and Musigny, produce highly sought-after wines with depth and ageing potential. Notable producers include Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, Domaine Georges Roumier, and Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier, all celebrated for their refined winemaking.
