Robert Parker Wine Advocate William Kelley - 31 Jan 19
There are fully thirteen barrels of the superb 2017 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Charmes, a promising wine that reveals attractive aromas of red cherries, wild berries, dried roses, sweet spices and dark chocolate. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, ample and layered, with good concentration, juicy acids and a penetrating finish.

Now there is some real intensity and potential here! A bit of a battle going on between fruit and tannins, but I think the fruit will out. (JR)

Chambolle-Musigny

Chambolle-Musigny, a prestigious appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, is renowned for its elegant, aromatic Pinot Noir wines. Known for their finesse and complex aromas of red berries, violets, and earth, these wines are often described as the most "feminine" of Burgundy. The appellation's two Grand Cru vineyards, Bonnes Mares and Musigny, produce highly sought-after wines with depth and ageing potential. Notable producers include Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, Domaine Georges Roumier, and Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier, all celebrated for their refined winemaking.
