The 2014 Saumur Champigny Le Clos is a great Champigny that opens with a deep and concentrated, still leathery bouquet of dark fruits. Round and generous on the palate, this is a highly elegant, silky, fresh and perfectly juicy Le Clos with fine tannins and a long and salty finish.

Classic and exceptional. A savory nose full of smoke, black pepper, and spice. Lively juicy and complex on the palate, with black cherry, red berries and olives, as well as licorice and green tobacco. It is long, succulent and fresh. The blend of elegance and rusticity one hopes for in Loire reds.
