The 2016 Corton Grand Cru unfolds nicely in the glass with blackberry, cranberry, violet and iris. Aromatically, it still has plenty in the tank after a decade. The palate is medium-bodied with a muscular entry. Grippy and a little rustic in style, this is a solid Corton that subsequent vintages have perhaps superseded.
