Robert Parker Wine Advocate Stephan Reinhardt - 30 Oct 20
The 2019 Kanzemer Altenberg Riesling Spätlese (Versteigerung) is very fine and elegant on the still pretty reductive nose. Tight and fresh on the palate, this is a pure, tight, stimulatingly firm and stony yet frisky and buoyant Altenberg Spätlese with stimulating salinity on the straight, fresh and piquant finish. 8% alcohol. Tasted from AP 10 20 in October 2020.
