Robert Parker Wine Advocate William Kelley - 30 Sep 21
Offering up aromas of pear, white flowers, crisp apricot and fresh mint, the 2019 Meursault Les Corbins is medium to full-bodied, satiny and textural, with a gourmand core of fruit girdled by bright acids. Deriving from younger vines, it's more giving and immediate than the serious Grands Charrons.

Meursault

Meursault, in Burgundy's Côte de Beaune, is famed for its rich and complex Chardonnay wines. Known for opulent textures, vibrant acidity, and nutty, buttery flavours with notes of stone fruits, citrus, and hazelnuts, these wines also feature a subtle minerality and creamy mouthfeel from limestone-rich soils and oak ageing. Though lacking Grand Cru vineyards, Premier Cru sites like Les Perrières, Les Genevrières, and Les Charmes produce exceptional wines. Top producers include Domaine des Comtes Lafon, Domaine Roulot, and Domaine Coche-Dury, all celebrated for showcasing Meursault's unique terroir.
