Vinous Neal Martin - 01 Dec 21
The 2020 Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru, which comprises of the usual "thimble" of 80-litres this year, has a beautifully defined bouquet with leafy red fruit (from the 100% whole bunch), rose petals, orange rind and Japanese nori aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-boned tannins, again, very harmonious and poised with lip-smacking salinity on the finish. I think this will need time in bottle, so leave it several years if you can get your mitts on one.
