Robert Parker Wine Advocate Kristaps Karklins - 08 May 25
Lamblot's latest NV Brut Nature Frénésie Meunier, sourced from 38- to 60-year-old vines across three parcels in Vrigny and vinified entirely in 600-liter barrels, originates entirely from the 2020 vintage and was disgorged in February 2024. This cuvée, produced from Pinot Meunier thriving in sandy soils over limestone, reveals aromas of citrus peel, pear, honeysuckle and spices. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, precise and saline, with impressive density and bright acidity. Its structure is slightly more generous compared to Les Côtes Chéries, though less powerful than Les Fourgons.
