Vinous Neal Martin - 05 Jan 23
The 2021 Puligny-Montrachet Les Combettes 1er Cru was picked on the same day as the Les Folatières, though (as usual) there is greater mineralité and tension on the nose, more energy. The palate is harmonious on the entry with veins of apricot and wild peach. This has a little more flair than the Folatières with a clean and precise finish. Delicious. This will be difficult to resist in its youth.
