The 2022 Pinot Noir leads with red cherry and strawberry, loquat and licorice, dried herbs and sea salt. It is fine and detailed and very pretty. Texturally, the wine is silky and leaves a trail of red apple skins, pomegranate molasses (tending toward burnt brown sugar) and sage through the finish. It is lingering and fine and very attractive. Matured for 10 months in French oak barriques (30% new). 13% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.

The 2022 Pinot Noir is very understated–gently fragrant as if offers up layers of wild strawberry and raspberry, with subtle rose petals and spice in support. Lightly framed, the palate delivers more meat and spice on a silky build, with an herbal tang to finish.
