Vinous Joel Payne - 01 Jan 12
Pale golden yellow. Subtle aromas of strawberry, honeysuckle and oyster shell are complemented by discreet brown spice botrytis. The peach flavor remains elegantly dense and appealingly bright for all its luscious ripeness. Not as rich as Haag's gold capsule ausleses, this well-crafted riesling is nevertheless quite refined and long on the finish.
