Bright dark red. Very fresh aromas of blueberry and menthol plus a hint of game. Concentrated and seamless, with its crushed purple fruit flavors complicated by a suggestion of fresh blood. Offers a lovely combination of thickness and acidity and finishes with a firm tannic spine. This cool site did very well in 2015.

From a parcel in the middle of the Clos. Just racked into tank prior to tasting. Interesting green savour on the nose. Then richness on the palate but proper burgundy. Racy finish. Very appetising and long. Quite big boned. (JR)
