Medium red. Perfumed nose of red cherry and flowers. Dense, supple and suave; very 2000 in its fleshy texture but boasts lovely freshness. Long and aromatic on the ripely tannic back end. I underrated this from barrel; perhaps I have done the same with the young 2001.
