Vinous Stephen Tanzer - 01 Sep 05
Saturated medium ruby. Superripe aromas of black raspberry, currant, tar, minerals, licorice and sexy oak. Extravagantly sweet and ripe, with layered flavors of roasted black raspberry, minerals, chocolate and black olive. Finishes lush and broad, with a boatload of sweet, smooth, building tannins. In the past two vintages, Peter Sisseck has taken the second wine of Pingus to a new level.
