Vinous Antonio Galloni - 10 Jan 23
The 2018 Barolo del Comune di La Morra is absolutely exquisite. Silky and medium in body, with terrific depth, the 2018 is seriously impressive. Macerated cherry, pine, menthol, licorice, dried rose petal, spice and orange zest soar out of the glass. The 2018 offers striking complexity and uncommon depth, at this level, or any level, for that matter. Sweet floral notes resonate on the captivating finish. Impressive.
