Vinous Neal Martin - 01 Dec 21
The 2020 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru has a tightly-knit, conservative nose, more Latricières-like in style, missing some joie-de-vivre and energy. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly coarse tannins, moderate depth, but more like an average Premier Cru in concentration than a Grand Cru. So-so.
