Vinous Neal Martin - 17 Jan 24
The 2022 Clos des Lambrays Grand Cru comprises 200 bottles this year aged in a used tailor-made barrel from the Mercurey cooperage. It has a pure bouquet of brambly red berry fruit, briar, light sous-bois and a touch of white flowers. The medium-bodied palate is quite linear and sapid in style with fine-boned tannins, not powerful but long and tender. Very fine, albeit virtually unobtainable.
