Vinous Stephen Tanzer - 01 Mar 10
Medium red. Reticent aroma of red fruits, brown spices and underbrush. In a drier style, but with sneaky intensity to the floral, smoky flavors. Finishes with good cut and length.

The Dujac 2007 Morey-St.-Denis Fils and Pere allies delicacy to subtle creaminess, and ripe, fresh berry fruit to pungently herbal and minty elements. There’s no hardness here, and the finish is satisfyingly juicy in a way too few Pinots of its vintage

Morey-Saint-Denis Fine Wine

Morey-Saint-Denis

Morey-Saint-Denis, a prestigious appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, is known for its elegant, well-structured Pinot Noir wines that balance the power of Gevrey-Chambertin and the finesse of Chambolle-Musigny. These wines feature flavours of red and black fruits, earthy spices, and floral notes, with refined tannins and excellent ageing potential. Home to five Grand Cru vineyards, including Clos de Tart and Clos Saint-Denis, top producers like Domaine Dujac, Domaine Ponsot, and Domaine des Lambrays are celebrated for their traditional winemaking and expressive wines.
