The 2009 Gevrey-Chambertin Mes Favorites Vieilles Vignes is intense, rich and very long on the palate. Intense, spiced notes meld into dark red berries in this fleshy, totally seductive version of Mes Favorites. Mineral notes appear later, giving the wine its energy. This is a fabulous Favorites. Anticipated maturity: 2019-2029.
