A solid as well as substantial wine, this dark ruby, medium-bodied Pomerol offers a bouquet of melted licorice, black cherries, and earth. Good power, ripe tannin, and a chunky, somewhat monolithic style suggest cellaring is warranted. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2014.
