The 2013 Chianti Classico Riserva Levigne is a full and generous wine with bold cherry and blackberry aromas followed by spice, tobacco and pressed rose. The floral element is interesting and unexpected. Cinnamon and allspice also appear at the rear. This Chianti Classico Riserva offers some bitter tartness on the close, but it also has enough sweet fruit to balance it out.
