The 2013 Chambolle-Musigny Village, which is being matured in 20% new oak, has a slightly purer bouquet than the Clos Sorbe '13 at this nascent point, but there does appear to be more volume and florality. The palate is a little gassy at the moment but there is clearly good acidity here and plenty of tart cherry fruit toward the tensile finish. Very fine.
