The dark ruby-colored 2007 Aphrodite is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in new French oak for 18 months. Herbal, eucalyptus, and cassis aromas are unpleasantly green-tinged. Firm, slightly tart and tannic on the palate, this compact effort is especially disappointing considering the lofty price tag.
